We invite you along to experience a 'Totally Different' way of schooling, to walk the 'Footsteps' of a Student or Teacher at the 'LSODE'. The 'Longreach School of Distance Education' (Formerly the Longreach School of the Air or School of the Air) is a unique experience and is one of sixteen schools in the country; and only one of seven in the state.
The school is located on the historic Landsborough Highway and is one many attractions to be found in Longreach along the Matilda Highway Heritage Trail.
Tours are run twice daily at 9:00am and 10:30am, Monday to Friday; excluding Public holidays and Christmas school holidays.
Bookings are necessary for large groups only.
